Three new motorhome areas have opened across France in early 2026, catering to different travel styles and budgets.
Normandy: near Mont-Saint-Michel
In Villedieu-les-Poêles-Rouffigny (Manche department), a 12-pitch area opened in January, managed by Camping-Car Park. It offers electricity, a dump station, water and Wi-Fi, but no showers or toilets. Overnight stay costs €15.18. Motorhomes longer than nine metres or with trailers are not allowed.
Alps: year-round site
In Alpe du Grand Serre (Taillfer massif), a year-round area accommodates about 20 vehicles. Services include a dump station, drinking water, electrical hook-ups and a seasonal sanitary block. Full service costs €11.10.
Drôme Provençale: budget option
In Puy-Saint-Martin (Drôme department), a new area offers about 20 pitches. The fee is €8, covering access to dump and water points, but without electricity.
