A video of a solo overnight stay in a converted kei truck at a lakeside in rainy weather has drawn comments from Japan and abroad. The author, from Iwate Prefecture, reached the lake via a road with a collapsed section after heavy rain. The video shows safety measures including fitting Geolandar M/T G003 tyres, choosing a safe parking spot and preparing for possible flooding. The weather worsened overnight, but the morning was calm and the author cooked soba with leftover soup.
