Family from Leskovka travels Belarus with caravan for six years

Herbert, a traveler from Armenia, toured Belarus in a converted bus that serves as his home. He visited Minsk, Brest, Grodno, Polotsk, Belovezhskaya Pushcha, and other sites. His project aims to promote judging people by their actions rather than their citizenship. He plans to hold the first human summit in Berlin in 2028.

Herbert, who previously lived in Armenia, Kazakhstan, Russia and Germany, converted a 12.5-meter Yutong bus into his permanent residence. The conversion cost €30,000, while the bus itself cost €200,000. The interior includes a bedroom, kitchen, shower, toilet, guest area and library. The bus retains its D-category status, allowing parking in city centers. Herbert plans to visit 193 countries.

The Daineko family from Leskovka has been traveling with a towed camper for six years. They have owned three motorhomes, the latest being fully autonomous, insulated to -40°C, and equipped with solar panels. The family covered over 7,000 kilometers through Abkhazia, Sochi, Pyatigorsk, Volgograd, Chechnya, and Dagestan. In Belarus, they highlight the ability to park for free anywhere, unlike in Europe.

Onlíner has published a guide on renting campers and motorhomes in Belarus. The article lists rental prices ranging from 35 to 725 Belarusian rubles per day, depending on the type and duration. License requirements are specified: vehicles under 3.5 tons require category B, heavier ones require category C. It is noted that traveling to the EU with a rented camper is not possible due to restrictions on Belarusian license plates.

A family of skydivers from Belarus started building and renting out miniature teardrop trailers. The first trailer was built in a garage during winter, after which the couple launched the Skycamper brand. The fleet includes three models, including the new 'Vasilyok'. Weighing about 650 kg, the trailers feature a sleeping area, kitchen, autonomous lighting, and a solar panel. Registration of homemade campers in Belarus has become more complicated due to alienation restrictions, so the business focuses on rentals. Rental prices start at 80 Belarusian rubles on weekdays, no deposit required.

Belarus has started production of motorhomes based on MAZ minibuses and plans to develop infrastructure for them. The National Tourism Agency is considering creating a motorhome parking area near Mir Castle. The presented motorhome is equipped with a 150 hp diesel engine and designed for four people.
