According to a survey by Istituto Piepoli for Assocamp, 57.7% of dealers report that motorhome buyers are switching from traditional tourism (hotels, resorts), and 38.5% from second homes. The main reason is freedom of planning (65.4%), as well as the ability to travel with pets or sports equipment (48.1%). 63.5% of dealers say energy autonomy (lithium batteries, inverters, solar panels) is the key factor driving purchases.
