Japanese manufacturers have presented several new products for comfortable sleeping in cars and camping.

Sanco Cooling Mat

Sanco (also referred to as Sunco) has launched the "Hiyari Suiryū Kaimin Matto" (model WATM26SWH) with water cooling, powered via USB. The device consists of a water unit and a mat through which cooled water circulates, providing a prolonged cooling effect. Price is 19,800 yen. The mat supports up to 120 kg, consumes about 6 W, and CAN be used as a desktop fan with an included attachment. The product is already on sale.

CAR BED Standard Folding Bed

The CAR BED standard creates a flat sleeping surface inside a passenger car. The frame structure, about 9 cm thick when folded, can be set up in 5 minutes, has a load capacity of about 100 kg, and comes with straps to secure it to seats. Storage space is available under the bed.

Yado Cozy Mattress

Japanese manufacturers of car accessories and bedding have released the "yado cozy" mattress for car sleeping. Weighing 0.4 kg, it has a breathable structure, and both its cover and filling are washable. The product is also sold as a set with the folding "CAR BED" to eliminate seat unevenness.
