The deal reflects ongoing consolidation in the U.S. RV park industry, where many large properties (100–800 sites) remain family-owned.

The Florida and Alabama RV Park and Campground Association has presented a Best Park Award to Sugar Loaf Key RV Resort & Cottages in Summerland Key. Go RVing continues to promote RV travel as a way to see the USA, tapping into cultural conversations around America’s 250th anniversary, Route 66’s 100th anniversary, and this year’s biggest soccer tournament. Two new itineraries have been created: “Show Me Around the Show-Me State” (Missouri) and “Where the Great Lakes Offer Great Fun” (Erie, Pennsylvania). Under the RV-2-50 initiative, 20 itineraries have been published, developed in collaboration with destination marketing organizations and campgrounds.
