French motorsport events including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Le Mans Classic and Tour Auto attract travellers in camper vans and motorhomes. The Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) manages reception areas around the circuit, including a motorhome area along the Hunaudières straight. Pitches there are unnumbered, about 35 sq m, with toilets but no electricity, and the general admission ticket is purchased separately. Prices, opening dates and conditions are published on the official 24 Hours of Le Mans website. In some years camping pitches sold out within hours of tickets going on sale, so monitoring sale dates from the previous autumn is advised.
