Soaring fuel prices and concerns about regional supply are leading Australians to cancel or adjust their Easter holiday plans. Petrol prices have risen from 180 to 250 cents per litre and diesel to around 300 cents since early March, with hundreds of service stations across the country experiencing shortages. The tourism industry council expects 86% of the 1.3 million additional regional visitors in April to travel by private vehicle.
