Japan begins dismantling trailer homes used as temporary housing after Noto Peninsula earthquake

On July 11–12, 2026, the Tokyo Camper Show 2026 was held at Tokyo Big Sight, featuring a record 100 companies and 238 vehicles. The show model CONFFY 2 POP with options was priced at 5,483,500 yen.

At the Honda Access Outdoor Experience Photo Session held at Camp Nano Koshigaya in Saitama Prefecture, a concept was shown that turns the Honda Freed Crosstar into a mobile cinema. The rear seats fold flat, and a white roller blind from a hardware store is attached to the roof rack as a projection screen. A privacy shade provides blackout for daytime viewing.

The Yokohama Camper Show 2026 will take place on September 26–27, 2026 at Pacifico Yokohama. The event will feature a wide range of campers from light kei models to luxury full-conversion and bus-conversion vehicles, along with camping gear and outdoor accessories. Japanese manufacturer Annex has launched the Liberty 52 REi, a compact camper measuring 5.23 m in length, shorter than a Toyota Hilux. It accommodates up to eight people, with five sleeping berths, a kitchen, toilet, and underfloor heating. Prices in Japan start at 15.958 million yen (approximately 85,800 euros).
