A couple from Rio Grande do Sul has been living in a converted 1983 Volkswagen Kombi camper van since November 2024, having traveled over 12,000 kilometers. They rent out their apartment in Taquara, and their camper van, worth about 60,000 Brazilian reais, is equipped with a shower, refrigerator, and stove.
