A large tree crushed the roof and windshield of a parked camper van outside Prescott, Arizona, on Sunday afternoon, totaling the vehicle. The driver and his dog were unharmed after an orange Igloo water cooler inside the van absorbed the impact and kept the collapsed roof inches above the driver's seat. The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office advised avoiding travel through densely wooded areas during high winds and carrying emergency gear, water, and communication devices. The driver's identity and the exact campsite of the Oct. 11 incident have not been released.
