Camper Van Tourism Is Booming in Croatia

Camper van and motorhome tourism is booming in Croatia as more travelers seek flexible, mobile exploration of the country. Key drivers include the ability to move spontaneously between beaches, islands, and coastal towns without fixed hotel schedules. Croatia's long coastline, scenic roads, and compact distances make it particularly attractive. However, the boom also brings challenges: overcrowded campsites, illegal parking, and pressure on coastal infrastructure, especially in environmentally sensitive areas.
