A camper owner published a report on a two-day route from Takarazuka to Niigata Prefecture with overnight stays at Michi-no-Eki roadside stations on October 1 and 2, 2026. The first day covered 349 km in 9 hours, the second 447 km in 14 hours. A heat pump error delayed departure by three hours; the fault was fixed with repair tape. A visit to the Kamo Aquarium in Tsuruoka did not take place because ticket sales end at 16:00 while the aquarium closes at 17:00.
