Japanese brand yadocari, in collaboration with Washio, has introduced the KURUMOCHI insulated blanket designed for sleeping in vehicles. The product is marketed as a hybrid between a sleeping bag and a blanket, aiming to transform overnight car stays from a time of endurance into a time of relaxation.
KURUMOCHI employs the patented "Washio-shiki kimo" napping technology developed in 1970. It features a dual-mode construction: one mode for use before sleep and another during sleep. The blanket is manufactured in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan.
