A customer who ordered a camper based on the Toyota Camroad in late November 2025 reported that the base vehicle price had increased by nearly 800,000 yen. The rise is attributed to supply disruptions following a diesel engine certification scandal in 2024 and the launch of a new Camroad model in 2026. The environmental tax was abolished on 31 March 2026. Delivery is scheduled for March 2027.
