South Korea passes law banning unauthorized parking of motorhomes

The Yeongdo-gu district office in Busan organized a two-day camping trip for eight families with children enrolled in the Dream Start program. The event took place on June 10–11 at the Yeongdo Marino Auto Camping Site. Activities included walks, conversations, and relaxation in nature to strengthen family bonds. The program was supported by the district's culture and tourism department.

A couple on JTBC discussed a conflict over the husband's motorhome hobby. He spent about 90 million won on five motorhomes, while his wife considers such expenses excessive. The husband stated that motorhomes are his hobby and he does not plan to give it up.

Dangjin City in South Korea has completed the first phase of its 'Dangjin Camping Tour' program, aimed at attracting overnight tourists. The event, held on May 30-31, involved about 50 backpackers who visited the Nanjido tourist area and a public leisure campsite. The program is designed to increase tourist stay duration and stimulate the local economy through spending on accommodation, food, and activities.

The South Korean city of Wonju launches a pilot K-drone delivery service for campsite visitors on June 13. The service will expand from two to five campsites, with increased frequency during peak season.

LG Electronics plans to integrate its AI Home platform into vehicles, turning them into personalized living spaces. The 'Spielraum' project (German for 'play space') aims to connect home appliances, climate control, and lighting under AI management. The company has analyzed the motorhome and EV markets and conducted field research, including trips in camper vans.

On Geumneung Beach on Jeju Island, tourists and locals are unhappy with long-term RV parking that blocks access for other visitors. Authorities can only intervene if parking exceeds one month.
