Glades County commissioners voted Tuesday (Sept. 8) to change the future land use of 72 acres from residential to commercial, a step toward developing an RV resort with up to 700 sites. The property, located on Williams and Ortona Locks roads, would allow stays of no more than six months. The decision is not final.
