San José proposes creating motorhome spaces on beaches, targeting itinerant tourism

Over 55 motorhomes from across Uruguay gathered at Campamento Artigas during the long weekend. The event featured a San Juan bonfire and traditional queimada. The group 'Casas Rodantes y Motorhome del Uruguay' now has 987 members, nearing 1,000. Activities included fishing, guided walks, and board games.

In Villa Nueva, thieves broke into a motorhome parked on Chiclana Street and stole property valued at about 2 million pesos. The theft occurred twice within 48 hours through the windows. Stolen items include a gel battery, a power converter, and solar panels. The owner stated that replacing the stolen goods is very difficult due to their high cost.
