São José dos Campos issues 21 more permits to trailer owners

A meeting at the Torres city hall was held with motorhome owners to discuss parking rules and mitigation of urban impacts. Councilman Gimi Vidal (PP) stated that current restrictions (30-minute parking limit) are ridiculed by owners and called for a review of the law. The regulations were originally introduced due to illegal electricity hookups and parking on lawns.

The 'Columbia On The Road' project launched in São Paulo to train travel agents in road trips, fly & drive, and motorhome segments in the USA. The program runs in two cycles in 2026: first focusing on summer, the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and the Route 66 centennial; second on fall and winter products. Residents of Ubatuba report that a bus-based motorhome has been parked on the sand of Ubatumirim beach for over a week. Authorities have not yet clarified whether this regulation was applied in this case or reported any inspection or fine.
