China's Ministry of Commerce, together with eight other agencies, has released a package of measures to boost auto consumption, including support for RVs and pickup trucks. The initiative designates 40 pilot cities for auto market reform, with Yangzhou (Jiangsu province) focusing on RV camping development. Authorities plan to simplify campsite registration, improve infrastructure (water, electricity) and ease pickup truck access restrictions in cities. According to the ministry, China's vehicle fleet reached 370 million units by end-2025, with new car sales ranking first globally for the 17th consecutive year.
