Japanese automaker Isuzu has announced a new 2.2-liter diesel engine for the D-Max pickup in the European market. The engine produces 163 hp and 400 Nm of torque, 40 Nm more than the previous 1.9-liter unit. The model will be available in the second half of the year, with a starting price of €41,890 in Germany. It will be paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, with a 6-speed manual also offered.
