Ballarat-based Tommy Campers has launched the first fully equipped camper based on the Ford Ranger Super Duty. The S6X model features an integrated pop-up canopy and Tommy Tray, providing 198 cm of standing height and a kitchen with twin Dometicⓘ fridges, a microwave, a 460 Ah lithium battery, a 3000 W inverter and 480 W of solar charging. The complete truck weighs 3800 kg, leaving 700 kg of payload. The base S6X canopy starts at AU$30,900, while the debut truck is on sale for AU$214,990. Ford has no plans to offer the Ranger Super Duty in North America.
