In Brief

Pebble updates its Flow electric trailer for 2027 with a solar roof, 54 hp towing assist and self-hitching. Prices start at $159,000.

Pebble Flow 2027 updates

Pebble has updated its Flow electric trailer for 2027: a solar roof, a towing assist with 54 hp output and self-hitching to the tow ball have been added. The 45 kWh LFP battery supports bidirectional charging up to 12 kW, acceleration of the towing EV, DC fast charging (0–80% in under an hour) and recuperation up to 42 kW. Automation is handled by an Nvidia Orin processor and four surround-view cameras; via an iPad app, the trailer can be manoeuvred remotely and the black tank drained.

Jackery partnership

Jackery announced its entry into the smart electric trailer market in partnership with California-based Pebble. Jackery will supply additional solar panels and connections for the Pebble Flow 2027 as an option. The system provides about 2 kW of additional solar power when deployed; the panels connect to the Pebble Flow microgrid, which combines a 45 kWh LFP battery, solar input up to 4 kW and export up to 12 kW to a home, another camper or the towing EV. The Jackery kit costs $4,000 for the Founder Edition Pebble Flow 2027 and is added to the base price of $189,000; it includes four 500 W solar panels, four 3-metre extension cables and a four-input solar connector. Shipments of the Self-Powered Package are planned for December 2026.

Prices

Prices start at $159,000 for the Magic Pack version and at $189,000 for the Founders Edition.
