Lightship, the company behind the AE.1 electric camper, has introduced the Powersled, a commercial cargo trailer built on a battery-powered chassis. The trailer offers battery capacities of 80, 160, or 240 kWh, the latter nearly double the capacity of a Tesla Cybertruck. It features the Trekdrive powered axle to assist the towing vehicle and can supply up to 38 kW of continuous power at a job site. The first customer is Exedy Drones, which plans to use it as a mobile charging hub for agricultural drones.
