Region invests half a million in motorhome tourism

Swedish manufacturer Kabe built a unique caravan, the Imperial Tower, in 2018, featuring two floors and a rooftop terrace. The structure’s height of nearly 4.5 meters restricts its passage under many bridges.

A Fiat Adria motorhome was stolen from GH Husvagnar dealership in Ulricehamn, Sweden, between April 25 and 27, 2026. Police are searching for suspects. The vehicle is valued at over 700,000 SEK.

Investigation leader Peter Karlsson noted that caravan thefts are rare and police cannot recall a recent similar case. The caravan's value is unknown, and no suspects have been identified.

A caravan owner accidentally drilled a hole through the chassis number plate. According to an expert, caravans from 1969 onward have a stamped chassis number on the frame. If that is missing, a new number can be stamped and a registration inspection performed, while keeping the original plate.
