Czech racer Petr Fulín launches conveyor-belt camper van production at Fullvans

The camp in Strážnice (South Moravia) has more than 300 caravan pitches, allowing guests to arrive without a reservation, unlike many other camps. Operators report growing demand for caravanning since the COVID-19 pandemic and are adapting infrastructure: adding electricity, Wi-Fi, grey water disposal, and planning larger, more luxurious pitches with water supply. The season is lengthening – some camps open as early as Easter and stay open until October. To cope with labor shortages, automated reception systems and vending machines are being introduced.

A rare Karosa W 4 Dingo caravan from 1961 has been put up for sale. Fewer than 50 units of this model were produced. The caravan features a low weight of about 400 kg thanks to its fiberglass body and compact dimensions (length 3750 mm). The unit with serial number 004 is priced at 300,000 CZK.

Campgrounds in the Moravian-Silesian Region are preparing improvements for the summer season, including more caravan spaces and infrastructure upgrades. The regional council allocated CZK 33.8 million for tourism projects.
