The Outdoorsy Group, known as an RV rental marketplace, has rebranded to The Ride Platform, as announced by founder and CEO Jeff Cavins on LinkedIn. Cavins stated that the company stopped being solely an RV company years ago. The new name reflects a broader focus on mobility operators of any vehicle type, including autonomous ones. The platform now includes Roamly FSD insurance, which cuts operator costs by 50% when in autopilot mode, and the Ride marketplace, which gives operators 80% of each booking.
