CW Enerji Launches Flexible Solar Panels for RVs and Yachts

Rapid snowmelt and heavy rains caused the water level of Lake Tekir at the foot of Mount Erciyes to rise sharply. Several caravans, tents, and containers set up on the shore were submerged. The flooding was captured by drone on May 9, 2026.

Turkish manufacturer CW Enerji has launched a line of flexible and foldable solar panels for caravans, yachts and boats. The panels are lightweight and modular, and portable energy storage stations are also offered for off-grid power supply.

The Uludağ National Park Directorate has announced the start of tent and caravan site rentals for the 2026 summer season in Sarıalan and Çobankaya. Seasonal applications run from June 1–10, short-term stays from June 11. Prices: tent 500 TL, caravan 725 TL per night, with a 30% discount for eligible groups.

On the morning of May 7, 2026, in the Sarıyer district of Istanbul, 34-year-old Okan Demir lost control of his caravan on a curve, crashed into a barrier, and overturned. The driver died at the scene; traffic was temporarily closed.

About 40 caravan owners collected litter from roads and forests in the ancient city of Olympos, Kumluca district. The event was organized by the Antalya Camping and Caravan Association to highlight environmental pollution and promote eco-friendly living.
