Hyundai unveils Staria Camper EV concept

Starbucks Korea has unveiled its first mobile coffee trailer, named 'S: Bokcha'. The trailer is designed to serve hard-to-reach areas and disaster zones. The presentation took place on April 22 at Yeouido Hangang Park in Seoul.

The Korean camping lifestyle brand DOD is launching a mobile camper van to showcase its products. The project, named DOD CHA, will operate on a 1-night/2-day schedule, touring campsites in Chungju, Yeoncheon, Mungyeong, Gimje, and Yeongwol from late April through June 2024.

The Kumho SLM motorsport team has signed a sponsorship deal with motorhome manufacturer Jeil Mobile. Under the agreement, the company will provide its flagship motorhome to support the team's participation in the Superrace Championship and Hyundai N Festival throughout 2026. The signing ceremony took place on April 18 at Everland Speedway in Yongin.

Kumho Rentacar, a subsidiary of Kumho Development, has entered the market with camper van and business van rentals. The company unveiled two models: the "Dirado" camper with a compact toilet and a sofa bed for six, and a seven-seater business van equipped with a refrigerator and a multimedia system.

The first caravan styled like a traditional Korean hanok house has opened in Byeonsan National Park, South Korea. The accommodation costs from 50,000 won per night and can accommodate up to five people.

The Sodo Campground in Taebaeksan National Park opens on April 16 for the spring season. The 31,700 sq m facility features 18 sites for small caravans, 14 sites dedicated solely to caravans, and 48 sites for car camping, totaling 80 sites. A new stargazing program will be introduced this season.
