RV Rental Prices Rise, But Demand Stays Strong: Go RVing and Go RV Rentals Reports

The industry-wide marketing campaign Go RVing released its annual report on April 21. In 2025, the campaign launched the 'Just Beyond Your Door' program, hosted 15 events with 70,000 attendees, and published an RV owner demographic profile.

The Outdoorsy platform enables the rental of RVs for self-driving or with delivery and setup on-site. The service is available in over 4800 cities, offers 24/7 roadside assistance, and insurance coverage. App-based rental is presented as an alternative to ownership, given that many RVs in North America sit unused for most of the year.

The Go RV Rentals platform has published a report on RV rental prices in the US and Canada as of March 2026. The average rental cost in the US is $198 per night, up 8.1% year-over-year; in Canada, it is CAD 196, a 3.7% increase. The most expensive US metro areas for rentals are Houston, Los Angeles, and Atlanta.
