Missouri-based Freedom Campers is preparing to launch a new version of its 72 x 89 camper pod that can be used as a trailer or dropped into a pickup bed. The prototype features a two-person rooftop tent, increasing sleeping capacity to four or five. It also includes a 270-degree awning. The existing 72 x 89 Pod starts at $4,540, and the new model is expected to cost more. Official pricing and specs will be announced at launch.
