US manufacturer Aliner has introduced the Scout 15 folding trailer, which transforms from a flat state into a full camper with hard walls in 30 seconds. The body is made of fiberglass (GFRP). The trailer is 5.48–5.5 m long, 2.13 m wide, 1.67 m high when folded, and 2.54 m high when deployed. Curb weight is 881 kg, maximum load is 700 kg.
Standard equipment includes a refrigerator, sink, power outlets, LED lighting, and two sleeping areas (1.02×2.03 m and 1.52×2.03 m), for up to 4 berths. Shower, toilet, water system, stove, microwave, heating, and hot water are not included in the base version. Options include air conditioning, solar panels, an extra window, and an off-road package.
Price in the US starts at 15,500 euros, in Germany from 19,900 to 20,000 euros. In Germany, the model is available through dealer camp-impuls.de.
