RV driver dumps wastewater into diesel tank at Colorado gas station

A group of volunteers from Dyess Air Force Base is seeking a large fifth-wheel RV to house eight people during the annual Chili Superbowl in Buffalo Gap, Texas. The event, scheduled for Labor Day weekend, raises thousands of dollars for Ben Richey Boys Ranch. Last year, Family RV donated rental RVs, but they are not available this year. Organizers are asking local businesses or RV owners for a loan or sponsorship.

On June 1, 2026, a crash on Interstate 74 in Decatur County, Indiana, involved two pickup trucks, one towing a camper trailer. The camper trailer overturned, blocking traffic. Two secondary collisions occurred due to the backup, including a semi-truck struck by a pickup at high speed. One victim was airlifted to IU Methodist Hospital; another was treated and released. A first responder sustained minor injuries. The highway reopened at 7:20 p.m.

A unique motorhome called the Airnado, built in the early 1980s, is now listed on Bring a Trailer. It combines the front end of a 1969 Oldsmobile Toronado with the body of a 1967 Airstream Land Yacht. Powered by a 7.5-liter V8 engine producing 375 hp, it features front-wheel drive and a living area with kitchen, toilet, and sleeping berth. The current owner completed a renovation in 2023, including new flooring, solar panels, and lithium batteries.

A private investor group from Plano, Texas, purchased 82 acres in Grayson County to develop an RV resort with a restaurant and tiny homes. The project is inspired by the Live Oak Lake glamping destination near Waco. The transaction closed on May 6; the price was not disclosed.

Kewadin Casinos in Michigan has announced the next phase of a multimillion-dollar upgrade project. Scheduled renovations include a new RV park at the St. Ignace property, starting in spring 2027, and hotel room renovations beginning in fall 2026. The three-year plan involves substantial investment across all casino properties.

The Texas Association of Campground Owners (TACO) announced the summer season, noting that Independence Day is just the beginning.
