On 23 September 2026, in the commune of Caraman in Haute-Garonne, France, a motorhome rolled down a street with a gradient of over 7% and crashed into the facade of a house, breaking through the wall of a bedroom. The house was empty at the time. The driver reported brake failure. Two occupants of the motorhome sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospital. A specialised fire brigade team secured the building, and the residents were rehoused with family. An investigation is underway.
