A Maverik gas station in Montrose, Colorado, has halted diesel sales after an RV driver emptied a waste tank into the underground diesel storage. The incident occurred on Monday, with a witness reporting that the driver removed a manhole cover near the road and dumped waste directly into the diesel tank, bypassing a designated dump station. The station must now pump out and thoroughly clean the tank, filters, pumps, and hoses before resuming operations, a costly and time-consuming process.
