140 caravans of travelers occupied the football field of Chaussin stadium since May 18. This coincided with the regional rally scheduled for May 22–23 and a departmental handball tournament involving 350 children the following weekend. The municipality is negotiating with the travelers, who agreed to reduce their stay from three to two weeks, but there is no guarantee they will leave by May 29.
