On Monday around noon, a camper van and an outdoor kitchen caught fire in Mediniai Strėvininkai village, Morkūnų Street. According to the Fire and Rescue Department, the wooden outdoor kitchen with an extension was burning with open flames, and the camper van parked three meters away had already burned out. The fire was extinguished within about half an hour. All flammable parts of the "Zuggabel" camper van were destroyed, the roof of the outdoor kitchen burned, three exterior walls were scorched, and the interior was smoke-damaged. An Opel car parked two meters away was saved.
