Wave of burglaries in motorhomes – five convicted

A converted Scania CL94UA city bus from 2003, 18 meters long, has been listed for sale in Sweden for €105,000. The interior includes a kitchen, living room, library, guest room, bedroom, shower and toilet, sleeping five people. It features 14 solar panels (3.5 kW) and 420-liter fresh and gray water tanks. The seller claims a standard B license is sufficient, but in Germany and Sweden vehicles over 3.5 tons typically require a C1 or C license.

On Monday evening, a tornado hit the village of Råstrand in Sorsele municipality, southern Lapland. The storm tore off roofs and felled large amounts of forest. The couple's caravan was thrown several hundred meters and completely destroyed. The owners canceled their planned vacation.

A parked motorhome caught fire in Nödinge, with flames spreading to a nearby house. Due to a gas cylinder on board, rescue services cordoned off the area and closed Bräckans väg. Cooling of the gas cylinder is underway to prevent an explosion.
