Two people, three dogs and two cats were rescued from a motorhome that overturned in floodwaters. The incident occurred around 2 pm on Friday near the Rio Blanco River, about 10 miles southeast of Pagosa Springs, Colorado. A Colorado National Guard Blackhawk helicopter crew hoisted those trapped inside to safety without injury. According to Major Shane Tracey, the command pilot, the motorhome tipped over as the couple loaded it to evacuate their home, leaving them stranded for about 12 hours.
