On August 26 at about 21:05, a motorhome caught fire on road 2504 between Noszvaj and Bogács. The blaze produced heavy smoke and flames, and spread to dry roadside grass and vegetation.
Firefighters from Eger and Szomolya extinguished the fire using water and hand tools. The driver noticed a fault and pulled onto a side road, preventing more serious consequences. According to updated reports, pulling onto the side road prevented the vehicle from rolling back on an incline and possible further accidents. No injuries were reported. No information on the cause of the fire has been reported yet.
