On July 19 at around 4:30 a.m., a waterspout struck the Lopari and Rapoča campsites on the island of Lošinj, Croatia. According to the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Fire Department, the wind uprooted about 50 pine trees, which fell onto cars, caravans and tents. Two guests were injured and airlifted by helicopter to the Rijeka Clinical Hospital Center. A total of 22 firefighters with six vehicles responded.
