The fire and rescue service were called to Ronaldsway Industrial Estate on 23 March at around 10:20 am. Two pumping appliances and the Duty Officer were mobilised. On arrival, the Incident Commander confirmed a camper van was well alight and positioned close to a nearby building. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and prevent it spreading to an adjacent property. People are being warned to ensure any electrical work is carried out by a competent person.
