About 90 firefighters battled a large wildfire on Dunwich Heath on the Suffolk coast, with a major incident declared. The wind-driven blaze forced the evacuation of homes and Cliff House Holiday Park, a caravan park. Up to 200 caravans were prepared for evacuation; around 48 people were relocated to Westleton Village Hall.
