Five Almeria residents arrested after abandoning motorhome with drugs in Murcia

The Villarcayo city council is considering two plots for a new paid motorhome area with 25 spaces: near the Cigüenza urbanization or in the Pontones area. The project, included in the 2026 budget with €120,000, is being drafted by a consultant who will also determine the best location. The initial site near the new tourist hostel was discarded after the Ebro Hydrographic Confederation declared it a flood zone. The area will feature automated access control, individual water and electricity hookups, and a fee to prevent uncontrolled camping that has caused resident complaints.

González criticizes Palma Mayor Jaime Martínez's policy, which he says denies registration and pushes motorhome residents out of the city.
