Carbon monoxide poisoning incidents during camping continue in Gangwon province. From 2020 to September 2023, 20 incidents at campsites resulted in 4 deaths and 25 hospitalizations. All cases occurred in sealed tents or vehicles due to the use of charcoal or diesel heaters. Authorities urge regular ventilation and installation of carbon monoxide alarms.
