In Ashford, Kent, a group of travellers has set up camp on a field behind allotments in South Willesborough. At least 20 caravans, along with several vans and pickups, are on the site near Bromley Green Football Club. The camp was set up on the evening of 8 July, with access via a narrow track. Responsibility for eviction depends on whether the land is council-owned or private.
In Worcester, about 13 caravans and other vehicles arrived at Diglis playing fields on Tuesday, 7 July. Councillor Adam Scott said police and council officers visited the site for checks. The group stated its intention to stay for four to five days. Similar camps occurred on this field in 2023 and 2025, after which eviction notices were issued.
