On Wednesday afternoon, a car towing a caravan crashed into a tree on Canowindra Road, about 15 km from Canowindra heading from Cudal. The caravan rolled onto its side. The driver, a man in his 50s, freed himself before emergency crews arrived, was assessed at the scene, and was not taken to hospital. Police described the incident as 'minor' and will not investigate.
