In Whakatāne, New Zealand, a man and his cat were sleeping in their campervan when a woman entered the driver's seat and drove off. The owner could not stop the thief and called police, remaining inside the moving vehicle without a seatbelt. Police followed at a distance until the campervan stopped on Wainui Rd. A 28-year-old woman is in custody; the man and cat were unharmed.
