On July 24, a lorry collided with a car towing a caravan on the A30 in Devon. Devon and Cornwall Police were called at 11:05 am. The caravan sustained significant damage, with one side completely torn off. Police reported no injuries.
Traffic was disrupted for several hours, with one lane closed. Both westbound lanes have since reopened, but congestion and delays remain. The incident occurred near the Okehampton bypass, close to Sourton Cross.
