A municipal survey released on 16 September estimates the economic activity of the Encontro de Motorhomes 2026 in Rio das Ostras at R$ 415,600. The event took place from 4 to 6 September at the Costazul Events Area. The estimate is based on interviews with 137 people — 87 residents, 30 tourists and 20 excursionists — an estimated audience of two thousand participants over three days and declared spending on food, retail, fuel, accommodation and other services. The survey was conducted by the municipal Tourism Department, with data collection by Faetec students; among 26 tourists who reported their length of stay, the average was five days. Participants also cited the need for improvements to toilets, waste disposal, lighting, water and support points. No new date for the event has been announced.
